Unfortunately, the creator of VGM MM Shiru has abandoned the software and took if off of his site, which is a shame because it is lacking very important features, and still a bit buggy. GeckoYamori would be able to give you more details than I can though, but for the most part, that's what I can tell. You can tell just by listening that he doesn't import MIDI's, he creates it from scratch. In any case, the reason his stuff sounds more polished is because it is. Anyway, by the sound of his earlier stuff, it sounds like imported Genesis instruments, but his later stuff sounds like he programs it himself. So, they have far more channels than a Genesis can have, and due to lack of polish, after he assigns the Genesis instruments his sound is very "loose" and typically ugly, and can lead to atrocities like this: No offence to Renegade himself because he seems like a good guy as far as I can tell. He also said in the comments of one of his videos that he doesn't stick to the Genesis limitations therefore he has misleading titles. I myself make legitimate Genesis music by which I mean programming and tracking everything from scratch so I can explain. In comparison Bloodlines is third or fourth tier.
